About the event
How do I recover?
If that's the question you keep coming back to, this session is for you.
What is it?
A free, live 30-minute teaching session, followed by Q&A. We'll walk through the three key steps to recovery we've seen work consistently, both in our own lives and with hundreds of clients: Understand it. Retrain it. Expand your life.
This is intended as the first of a number of sessions we hope to run over the coming months, depending on interest and demand.
Who's it for?
Anyone living with conditions such as ME/CFS, Long COVID, Fibromyalgia, POTS, MCAS or related chronic illness, especially if you've done the rounds of specialists, had every test come back normal, and are still looking for a real answer.
Who's hosting?
Marnie Marin (Australia) recovered from ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, IBS and suspected endometriosis after a senior career across the Victorian Departments of Health and Education. Her last role was Director of Recovery Outcomes at Emergency Recovery Victoria. An IECL Certified Coach, she now helps people recover using neuroscience and neuroplasticity.
Stuart Porter (UK) developed the RESTAND framework after recovering from severe ME/CFS. He spent his working life in education. His final role was as an Executive Headteacher. He has had many roles including Head of Coaching. He now works with clients worldwide using this framework.
What will you take away?
Why symptoms show up in the first place, and why they can stick around
A clear, three-step way to think about your own recovery
Answers to your own questions, put directly to two coaches who've been where you are
